Summary: Nance exchanges an email with Arnie.

Nance struggled to stifle a fierce giggle as she clicked open the email attachments. The best she could do was cover her mouth and do her best to muffle the giggles. It was probably wrong for her to laugh at Rick's battle against the seabirds, but it was just too funny seeing the look of panic on his face when he was up close to nature's most fearsome beast: the gull. Enrico would probably piss himself laughing.

It was completely by chance that she found them first. The main ShadowKnight email account was glanced at from time to time, less when nothing important was up. Since Dr. Miller phoned to talk to them, the email wasn't a priority. Nance had poked around right before shutting down for the night; she was now very glad she did so.

She scrolled back up to the list of the attachments and gave a sigh as she discovered that there were only the two. A photo of Rick after the gull attack and covered in bird droppings would have been mortifying for him, but entertaining for the rest of the estate. Perhaps, even entertaining enough that she could sell the picture to repair part of the damage done to her bank account. A small part of her wanted that picture just for herself; she could have sworn that the white bird crap brought out Rick's gray eyes. In real life, the smell outweighed the visual appeal, but photos had that way of working around that problem.

After clicking on the reply button, she quickly typed up a message for Arnie.

Thanks for passing along those photos. The first one is really nice. Maybe you can bring over the hard copies on the Thursday. I'd love to see at least the first picture printed out on good quality paper. We can even hang it up in the hallway. Think about it, your own mini art display.

Did you manage to get any photos of Rick after the gull attack? I wouldn't mind them for my own personal records.

Mike got directions to the mission site and Dr. Miller's office tonight. We weren't sure if you're coming along with us to the site or going there on your own if and when we need backup. Please reply to clear that up and if you need to know how to get there. I don't really think we'll need you on backup, but the guys keep going on about how the hospital is haunted. I think they're a little nuts, but having you on standby would probably make them feel more secure.
